    5. Regard to political content, Fatabyyano does not fact-check political opinions, electoral programs, or parliamentary promises. This includes content issued by politicians in all forms—textual, visual, or audio—such as statements, images, videos, or any material directly attributed to a politician or political campaign. Politicians are defined as candidates for public office, current officeholders, political parties and their leaders, as well as certain officials appointed to senior positions.
    6. Fatabyyano is committed to ensuring that all members of the platform do not belong to any political party and have not run for political office. The platform also remains committed to maintaining its independence and refraining from adopting any specific political orientation in its articles and investigations.
    7. Fatabyyano is committed to objectively verifying the substance of claims themselves, evaluating each claim independently and impartially, based solely on evidence and reliable sources, without presuming its truth or falsehood based on the individual or entity that published it.
    8. Members of the platform may occasionally participate in media appearances, however, they are required to avoid bias toward or against any side during such engagements. Fatabyyano is committed to refraining from using its platform to advocate for or promote politicians or political parties.
    9. Fatabyyano is committed to correcting any error it makes or publishes on its website or official accounts once evidence confirming the error is identified.
    10. Fatabyyano is committed to providing fact-checking services to the Arab public in all its segments, backgrounds, and nationalities.

تعمل منصة فتبينوا تحت 10 قواعد تحدد سياسة شفافيّة المنصة في العمل وتلتزم بها:

  1. تلتزم فتبينوا بإظهار جميع الأدلة عند نفي الادّعاءات أو اثباتها ولا يحق لها إخفاء هذه الأدلة.
  2. لا تعتبر آراء المحررين دليلاً يمكن الاعتماد عليه ولا تبنى التحقيقات على وجهات نظر العاملين في المنصة
  3. ” هذا المقال يعبّر عن رأي الكاتب ولا يعبّر عن اتجاه المنصة بالضرورة ” : هذه العبارة لا تنطبق على التحقيقات التي تنتجها منصة فتبينوا ولا بأي شكل من الأشكال وعليه تتحمل منصة فتبينوا المسؤولية الكاملة لوجود أي خطأ في أي تحقيق صحفي.
  4. المواد التي ترسل لمنصة فتبينوا يحق لمرسلها أن يطلب اظهار اسمه او لا ، ويحق للمنصة الموافقة أو الرفض بما لا يخالف قواعد العمل. فعلى سبيل المثال: ان كان اسم مرسل الدليل جزء لا يتجزّأ من الدليل تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بإظهار اسم صاحب الدليل بعد أخذ موافقته.
  5. فيما يتعلق بالمحتوى السياسي، لا تعمل منصة فتبينوا على التحقق من الآراء السياسية أو البرامج الانتخابية أو الوعود النيابية. ويشمل ذلك المحتوى الصادر عن السياسيين بمختلف أشكاله، سواء كان نصيًا أو مرئيًا أو مسموعًا، مثل التصريحات، الصور، مقاطع الفيديو، أو أي محتوى يُنسب بشكل مباشر إلى سياسي أو حملة سياسية. ويُقصد بالسياسيين المرشحون للمناصب العامة، وشاغلو المناصب الحالية، إضافة إلى الأحزاب السياسية وقياداتها، وبعض المسؤولين المعينين في مناصب عليا.
  6. تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بأن يكون جميع العاملين في المنصة لا ينتمون لأي حزب سياسي ولم يترشحوا لمنصب سياسي تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بأن تبقى منصة مستقلة بدون توجه سياسي معين في مقالاتها وتحقيقاتها.
  7. تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بالتحقق الموضوعي من مضمون الادّعاءات ذاتها، حيث يُقيَّم كل ادّعاء على نحوٍ مستقل ومحايد، بالاستناد حصراً إلى الأدلة والمصادر الموثوقة، دون افتراض صحته أو زيفه بناءً على الشخص أو الجهة التي قامت بنشره.
  8. يمكن لأعضاء المنصة المشاركة من حين لآخر في وسائل الإعلام ولكن يطلب منهم تجنب التحيز تجاه أو ضد أي جانب في المحادثات ، تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بالامتناع عن استخدام منصة فتبينوا للدعوة أو الترويج للسياسيين أو الأحزاب السياسية.
  9. تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بتعديل أي خطأ تقوم به أو تنشره على موقعها أو على حساباتها الرسمية إن وجدت الدليل الذي يثبت وقوعها في خطأ ما.
  10. تلتزم منصة فتبينوا أن تقدم خدمات التحقق من الأخبار والمعلومات للجمهور العربي بكل أصنافه وأطيافه وجنسياتهم.

Fatabyyano uses the following criteria to accept or reject any funds, partnerships and/or sponsorships

1. The sponsor, partner, or funder can be any institution, organization, company, NGO, NPO, or individual, nationally or internationally. However, All must commit to ethical practices, align with Fatabyyano’s values and mission, and maintain transparency about their intentions, providing clear and honest communication regarding their expectations and contributions.
2. Neutrality: The sponsor, partner, or funder must not have any religious or political affiliation.
3. Content Independence: The sponsor, partner, or funder must not impose any restrictions or conditions on content development or editing. Fact-checking and content editing must remain completely independent by Fatabyyano.
4. The sponsor, partner, or funder must not intend to purchase content exclusively, as we are committed to making facts accessible to the public.
5. Ethical Standards: The sponsor, partner, or funder must adhere to ethical standards that align with Fatabyyano’s mission and values.

Fatabyyano is not controlled by any political parties either in Jordan or Outside Jordan. as well as Fatabyyano have no commercial, financial or institutional relationship to any , politicians or Political Actors or Political parties either inside Jordan or outside Jordan, Fatabyyano had Transparent Funding Policy.

الاستقلالية

يشترط على جميع العاملين في منصة فتبينوا، سواء كانوا موظفين دائمين أو متدرّبين أو يعملون بنظام الفريلانسرز، أن يلتزموا بالاستقلالية السياسية التامة. يتضمن ذلك عدم الانتماء لأي حزب سياسي، وعدم الترشح في الانتخابات لأي حزب أو جهة سياسية، سواء في الماضي أو الحاضر. كما يُشترط أن لا يكونوا قد قدموا أي نوع من الدعم، سواء كان مباشرًا أو غير مباشر، لأي طرف سياسي، سواء من خلال المساهمات المالية، أو التبرعات، أو المشاركة في الأنشطة السياسية، وذلك لضمان حيادية تامة وموضوعية في عملهم داخل المنصة.

تستخدم فتبينوا المعايير التالية لقبول أو رفض أي تمويل أو شراكات أو رعايات:

  1. يمكن أن يكون الراعي أو الشريك أو الممول أي مؤسسة، منظمة، شركة، جمعية غير حكومية (NGO)، منظمة غير ربحية (NPO)، أو فرد، سواء على المستوى الوطني أو الدولي. ومع ذلك، يجب على الجميع الالتزام بالممارسات الأخلاقية، والتوافق مع قيم ومهمة فتبينوا، والحفاظ على الشفافية بشأن نواياهم، مع تقديم تواصل واضح وصادق حول توقعاتهم ومساهماتهم.

In 2019/2020: From 1 March 2019 until 1 May 2020

  • – The period between 1 Mar 2019 and 1 Mar 2020, it was one of the Most Difficult Times for Fatabyyano Since it lunched. As we apply for a multiple of grants and investment opportunities either in Jordan or outside Jordan with No Luck!
    – Fatabyyano was mainly funded by her Founder and CEO, Dr.Moath, it’s in the same period when Dr.Althaher left practicing Medicine to keep Fatabyyano stand up.
  • – In addition to that, Fatabyyano receives funds via Peacegeeks under the Artist in Residence Program. which help Fatabyyano for 2 Months, June & July 2020.
    Artist in Residence It is a program designed to empower artists and content creators to develop their ideas and concepts and turn them into actual artworks. The program supports participants to develop content about topics and concepts that focuses on the values of peace and understanding (useful dialogue) in the communities.
  • – In the Third Quarter of 2019, INJAZ support Fatabyyano under “My-Startup Project”; They Support Fatabyyano by offering us Free Co-Working Space Areas, Meeting Rooms, Legal Consultations as well as Logistics & Technical support. Which cover a lot of Expenses.

  • – On 19 March 2020 Facebook Announced it’s Partnership with Fatabyyano as a third Party Fact-checker in the Middle East & North Africa. Fatabyyano since 19 March 2020 has checked articles, images and videos on Facebook as part of the social network’s third-party fact-checking initiative. This work is funded by Facebook.
  • – On 30 April 2020, The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and Facebook Announced the Final batch of CoronaVirus Fact-checking Grants and Fatabyyano received Funding for their Project: F-19 Vs. COVID – 19.
    This project aims to fight misinformation in 19 Arab countries by delivering 19 packages composed of animated videos, fact-checked articles, and infographics. The team will use sign language in its visual production to reach a wider audience.

– In May 2020, Fatabyyano signed a contract with https://cfi.fr/fr. for the Production of infographics, videos, and a “fake-news tracker under the Name, Rumor is Virus, too!

– In April 2022, Fatabyyano signed an agreement with the International Fact-Checking Network at Poynter Institute for media studies, to receive a Fund under the Global Fact-Checking Mentorship Program to deliver the Drawing out the health fact-checking protocol program,

Fatabyyano provides fact-checkers with the tools, techniques and resources to investigate health misinformation and disinformation. The training addresses the different types of medical studies, the most common mistakes journalists make when dealing with medical articles, and reasons why people believe health misinformation. By the end of this program, the mentor and mentees will work as a group to create well-structured, informative and authentic protocols and guidelines that support the fact-checkers who deal with health-related misinformation around the world. Best practices will be published and translated into six languages. )

– In September 2022, had been Selected to receive a grant under the ” Spread the Facts Grant Program “, This program is in partnership between the IFCN at Poynter Institute and META.

This project aims to enhance and escalate Fatabyyano’s WhatsApp fact-checking across 19 countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

  • On Feb 2023 Fatabyyano receives funding from Meedan. In partnership with Meedan, Fatabyyano launched “Kenan” the first fact-checking tipline for an Arabic-speaking audience,
  • On July 2023 Fatabyyano Fatabyyano receive funds from the ICFJ, A workshop in partnership with ICFJ was conducted in Kenya in person for 5 trainers from MENA region, The goal of the project was to return to their countries and train 60 more people on media literacy and fact-checking, the project was part of a three-year global project run by ICFJ with lead funding from the Scripps Howard Fund.
  • On March 2024. Fatabyyano has been granted for BUILD award by Google/YouTube on the Project: Strengthening Fact-Checking in the MENA Region: Scaling Up and Upgrading Online Presence.
  • On March 2024 we contracted with TikTok. As a fact-checking partner with TikTok, Fatabyyano receives funds to cover fact-checking in the Middle East region, assessing content accuracy to enable moderators to apply Community Guidelines. This partnership is part of TikTok’s Global Fact-Checking Program.
  • In November 2024, Fatabyyano was awarded a GROW 2024 grant by the International Fact-Checking Network at the Poynter Institute, with funding support from Google and YouTube. The grant supports to develop of TrendCheck tool, an AI-powered tool for real-time monitoring and analysis of Arabic dis/misinformation trends and narratives, focusing on health pandemics, climate change, natural disasters, and elections.
  • During 2024/2025, Fatabyyano’s primary funding relied on partnerships with TikTok and Meta under their fact-checking programmes, which concluded in mid-2025. Looking ahead to late 2025/2026, Fatabyyano is working to secure new funding and partnerships to ensure sustainability, with a strategic focus on strengthening training services and developing AI-driven fact-checking tools to support long-term financial and operational resilience.

في 2019/2020: من 1 مارس 2019 حتى 1 مايو 2020:

  • كانت الفترة بين 1 مارس 2019 و1 مارس 2020 من أصعب الأوقات على فتبينوا منذ إطلاقها. حيث تم التقديم على العديد من المنح وفرص الاستثمار سواء في الأردن أو خارج الأردن دون نجاح.
  • تم تمويل فتبينوا بشكل رئيسي من قبل مؤسسها ومديرها التنفيذي الدكتور معاذ الظاهر، وفي نفس الفترة ترك الدكتور الظاهر ممارسة الطب للحفاظ على استمرار فتبينوا.
  • بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تلقت فتبينوا تمويلاً عبر PeaceGeeks ضمن برنامج “الفنان المقيم” الذي ساعد فتبينوا لمدة شهرين، يونيو ويوليو 2020.
  • في الربع الثالث من عام 2019، قدمت مؤسسة إنجاز الدعم لفتبينوا ضمن مشروع “شركتي الناشئة”. حيث قدمت مساحات عمل مجانية، وغرف اجتماعات، واستشارات قانونية، بالإضافة إلى الدعم اللوجستي والتقني.
  • في فبراير 2020، قدم الدكتور معاذ تدريبًا مدفوع الأجر لمدة تزيد عن 40 ساعة في التحقق من الحقائق للصحفيين والمدونين والمتخصصين الإعلاميين في أوزبكستان بدعم من مشروع اليونسكو.
  • في 19 مارس 2020، أعلنت فيسبوك شراكتها مع فتبينوا كمتحقق حقائق طرف ثالث في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. منذ ذلك الحين، تحققت فتبينوا من المقالات والصور والفيديوهات على فيسبوك كجزء من مبادرة التحقق من الحقائق التابعة للشبكة الاجتماعية. هذا العمل تم تمويله من قبل فيسبوك.

  • في سبتمبر 2022، تم اختيار فتبينوا لتلقي منحة ضمن برنامج “Spread the Facts“، وهو برنامج شراكة بين الشبكة الدولية (IFCN) وشركة ميتا (META). يهدف هذا المشروع إلى تعزيز وتوسيع نطاق تدقيق المعلومات عبر واتساب لدى فتبينوا في 19 دولة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.

في 2023/2024: من 1 يناير 2023 حتى 31 ديسمبر 2024:

  • استمر التمويل من ميتا كشريك رئيسي.
  • في فبراير 2023، تلقت منصة فتبينوا تمويلًا من “Meedan”. وبالشراكة مع ميدان، أطلقت فتبينوا «كنان»، أول خط ساخن لتدقيق المعلومات موجّه للجمهور الناطق باللغة العربية
  • في يوليو 2023، تلقت فتبينوا تمويلاً من ICFJ لتنفيذ ورش عمل في كينيا لتدريب لخمس مدربين من منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. وكان هدف المشروع أن يعود هؤلاء المدربون إلى بلدانهم ويقوموا بتدريب 60 شخصًا إضافيًا على الثقافة الإعلامية وتدقيق المعلومات. وقد كان هذا المشروع جزءًا من مشروع عالمي ثلاثي السنوات تديره ICFJ، بتمويل رئيسي من صندوق  (Scripps Howard Fund).
  • في مارس 2024، حصلت فتبينوا على منحة BUILD من جوجل/يوتيوب لتعزيز التحقق من المعلومات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا: التوسّع والارتقاء بالحضور الرقمي.
  • في مارس 2024،  تعاقدت فتبينوا مع تيك توك. كجزء من شراكة التحقق من المعلومات مع تيك توك، تحصل منصة فتبينوا على تمويل لتغطية التحقق من المعلومات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، من خلال تقييم دقة المحتوى لمساعدة المشرفين على تطبيق إرشادات المجتمع. تأتي هذه الشراكة ضمن برنامج التحقق من المعلومات العالمي الخاص بتيك توك.
  • في نوفمبر 2024، حصلت فتبينوا على منحة GROW 2024 من الشبكة الدولية IFCN، بدعم مالي من جوجل ويوتيوب. تدعم المنحة تطوير أداة TrendCheck، وهي أداة مدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي لمراقبة وتحليل الاتجاهات والسرديات المتعلقة بالمعلومات المضللة والحقيقية باللغة العربية بشكل مباشر، مع التركيز على الأوبئة الصحية، وتغير المناخ، والكوارث الطبيعية، والانتخابات.
  • خلال 2024/2025، اعتمد التمويل الأساسي لفتبينوا على الشراكات مع تيك توك وميتا ضمن برامج التحقق من الحقائق الخاصة بهم، والتي انتهت في منتصف 2025. وفيما يتعلق إلى أواخر 2025/2026، تعمل فتبينوا على تأمين تمويل وشراكات جديدة لضمان الاستدامة، مع تركيز استراتيجي على تعزيز خدمات التدريب وتطوير أدوات التحقق من الحقائق المدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي لدعم المرونة المالية والتشغيلية على المدى الطويل.
